DMSC Commodore / RYA Cruising Instructor David Megalli is training a crew of sailors in advanced sailing courses in Egypt. Some of the sailing skills this crew is learning is:

Basic rules of the road
Introduction to weather
Basic sail handling
Basic handling under power
Man overboard procedures
Vessel equipment and instruments
Engine checks and maintenance
Deck seamanship
Sailing vessels handling skills
Sailing vessels under power
Power vessel handling skills
Dingy handling under power

David continues to offer sailing courses designed to give beginner to advanced sailors the skills, confidence, and competence to sail a sailing yacht solo or bareboat charter.

DMSC Commodore David received Royal Yachting Association “Yachtmaster certification from Rock Sailing Gibraltar

RYA Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore Certificates of Competence are recognised and respected around the world and are the ultimate aim of many skippers.
