David Megalli, founder and lead instructor of DMSC Egypt, received his Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster certification from Rock Sailing Gibraltar in 2011. RYA Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore Certificates of Competence are recognised and respected around the world and are the ultimate aim of many skippers. A Yachtmaster is a yachtsman or woman competent to skipper a cruising yacht on any passage that can be completed without the use of astro navigation.
