DMSC Sailing Club
Dome Marina Sailing Centre is Egypt’s first established sailing centre where sailors of all experience can enjoy the excitement of sailing the Red Sea in Egypt.
DMSC Operating Schedule
The centre is open year round and is operational every day from 9:30 a.m. until dusk. Most activity is weekends on Friday and Saturday. Sailing lessons are typically held on weekends. Special requests can be made by contacting the centre.
Sailing lessons are suspended during the summer months, from July to September.
In the event of inclement or dangerous weather, the Commodore may restrict access to the boats at any time during the season.
DMSC boats are available to members only, although we occasionally rent out sail boats to experienced sailors. DMSC also places orders for dinghy boats but must fulfil a minimum order of six to eight boats per order. We offer free advice for purchasing your own sailboat.
Need a hand getting your boat ready to sail?
Our members and our staff have experience and are happy to help out. Throughout the year, we will offer sailboat clinics to assist you in getting your sailboat rigged and on the water. Contact us for upcoming opportunities.
Do you have a boat that you do not use much?
The centre will consider using your boat for instruction in return for free storing and maintenance.

Whether you are interested in learning how to sail, or you are an experienced sailor, we can accommodate your sailing pursuits. Learn basic sailing, fine-tune your skills or just explore the beautiful Red Sea coast. Dome Marina Sailing Centre offers beginner, refresher and advanced sailing courses.
With small class size and individual attention, the DMSC curriculum emphasizes water safety, wind awareness, boat handling, and seamanship. No matter what level you are in your sailing experience, we lead with safety, fun, and learning sailing independence.
